Unplugged Zimbabwe is undoubtedly becoming a world class event. Judging by the latest one, were thousands were in attendance, it is surely an event not to miss. In the words of one of the founders of Unplugged Chiedza Danha, “Zimbabwe’s premiere blankets and wine styled monthly music event”, is finally landing in Bulawayo for the first time since its first opening in 2013. Acts that are expected to grace the stage this weekend will include TRIBAL house trio Djembe Monks, Luveve’s finest rapper Cal_Vin and afro fusion sensation Hope Masike.
This Coca-Cola presented event will be the first of its kind in the city of kings. The concert is scheduled to start at 2pm until 10pm, with the entrance fee pegged at $10 for adults and $5 for children. Crowds are expected to descend on to Busters Sports club this Saturday 2nd of September and is most definitely the headline of the city this weekend.
The event will also include top flight dj’s like DJ Reverb and TK Beats. The promoters have also stated that people should come in their numbers for this family oriented event. By hosting such an event in the city of kings the organizer’s aim to help put local acts on the map thus promoting upcoming and undiscovered talent. Unplugged in Bulawayo is an event that should definitely not be missed by residents of the city of kings.
