A YOUNG TRAILBLAZER

Dr Vee Kativhu’s journey began when she relocated to the UK with her mother and has been a girls and education activist. She received the prestigious Diana Award for her work. Recently, the University of Bradford awarded her an honorary degree, and the United Nations selected her as a leader for their Sustainable Development Goals for young people.

One of Kativhu’s most significant achievements is her recognition as one of the BBC’s influential women.This prestigious accolade highlights her impact on the education and her commitment to empowering young girls who come from low income backgrounds. Her work has been instrumental in shaping the narratives that resonate with audiences worldwide. She is also an author at the young age of 26 years and has achieved so much showing us the sky is the limit.

In a unique collaboration, Vee Kativhu shared the spotlight with renowned actor Idris Elba in the Gucci Gender Equality Campaign. Who recently was selected for the Cbeebies Christmas storytelling campaign. Showing the major impact Vee Kativhu has at such a young age. Beyond her on-screen presence, Kativhu is deeply committed to giving back to her community. She is actively empowering the girl child through her club, Girls Up. It has created a community of young women, devoted in serving their community.
