“Fully Funded EU-West Africa Arts Fusion Residency & Expo 2024: A Gateway for Young African Creatives”

The EU-West Africa Arts Fusion Residency & Expo 2024, set to illuminate the artistic landscape in West Africa, is calling for applications until January 3rd, 2024. This event, a melting pot of diverse cultures, aims to foster cross-continental artistic collaboration and cultural exchange. It’s a unique opportunity for artists from Ghana, Togo, Benin, and EU Member States to come together in Ghana for a transformative experience.

The residency, taking place near Accra on the coast, will culminate in a grand event at the residence of the EU Ambassador in Ghana, H.E. Irchad Razaaly. Artists from the specified nationalities, with no upper age limit and a minimum age of 18, are encouraged to apply. The residency promises substantial support, including transportation costs for artists from Ghana, Togo, and Benin, daily per diems, and access to essential artistic equipment.

A panel of experts will select participants based on creativity, commitment to cross-cultural collaboration, and alignment with EU values like human rights and gender equality. The residency, spanning February 10th to 19th, 2024, will be hosted at the Kokrobite Garden Guest House, offering a serene environment near Kokrobite Beach.
