The musical biopic has rocked its way to a remarkable $101.1 million in worldwide revenue within just 10 days of its theatrical release. Impressively, it has raked in $61.4 million domestically and $39.7 million from 59 international territories.
In its second weekend, “One Love” maintained its dominance atop the domestic charts, pulling in $3.7 million on Friday alone. Internationally, the film continued its strong performance with an additional $3.3 million on Thursday and expanded its reach into eight new markets over the weekend.
The biopic, which premiered on Valentine’s Day, exceeded expectations during its debut, grossing $28.6 million over the standard weekend and a whopping $52 million across the six-day holiday period. Despite receiving mixed reviews, with a modest 42% average from critics on Rotten Tomatoes, the film garnered an impressive “A” CinemaScore from early audiences. Produced at a cost of $70 million, “One Love” has proven to be a lucrative and crowd-pleasing endeavor for Paramount.
